Marine Zuloyan est née à Etchmiadzin-Arménie. Elle a étudié à l’école des Beaux Arts Yeghishe Tatevossian d’Etchmiadzin avec le peintre Katchig Hagopian. De 1987-1992, elle a poursuivi des études à la faculté des beaux arts de l’Institut pédagogique Katchadour Apovian de Yerevan. Par la suite, elle a enseigné la peinture et l’histoire de l’art au Collège pédagogique d’Etchmiadzin.


« Bien que le vert foncé domine l’œuvre de Marine, les tons de rouge et de jaune créent une impression de profondeur impénétrable dans la nature et le temps. Ses portraits, exécutés avec simplicité, dégagent une expression majestueuse et inspirent la paix. C’est à partir de ces qualités que Marine a réussi à imposer son style unique et original. Son œuvre rappelle un peu le naïf, sans cependant perdre son caractère particulier. On peut qualifier son travail de pur, de serein et teinté d’une naïveté enfantine »

Marine a participé à diverses expositions, notamment en Arménie et au Canada. De plus, on retrouve ses tableaux dans plusieurs collections privées.

Marine Zuloyan was born in Etchmiadzin, Armenia. She studied at the school of Fine Arts Yeghishe Tatevossian of Etchmiadzin with the well known painter Katchig Hagopian. From 1987-1992, she attended the Yerevan Pedagogical Institute “Katchadour Apovian”, Faculty of Fine Arts. She taught painting and history of art at the Etchmiadzin Pedagogical College.


“Although a dark green color dominates Marine’s works, it is gently counterbalanced with red and yellow tints, making an impression of the impenetrable depth of nature and time. Her portraits have classic simplicity and majesty—everything is peaceful and peacemaking. With these qualities, Marine has created her original style. It is close to the acknowledged “naïve” style, and has its seal on her works: they exude childish innocence, purity and serenity”.
